All golf courses developed and open in Cambodia are listed on the Golf Courses page. There have been a number of new projects proposed, some will open in the next few years, whilst others are still at the ideas stage.

This is the current situation with new/proposed projects;

Sihanoukville

There are currently no golf courses or driving ranges open in Sihanoukville, O'Chhuteal Beach Resort is in progress, no proposed opening date established for the golf course. Construction on a 9 hole course commenced in 2004 but was never completed. This is now the site for the O'Chhuteal Beach Resort project.

Ream National Park

A project has commenced at Ream Resort, located between Sihanoukville and Kampot. The first phase will include a driving range, with a subsequent phase to include the construction of an 18 hole course. The driving range could be operational by 2013, and the golf course playable 2 years later. 

Bokor

A 36 hole Arnold Palmer Design project was proposed at Bokor Mountain. Project details are currently vague and the proposal is not currently listed on the Arnold Palmer Design website. More details are available at Thansur Bokor Highland Resort.

Phnom Penh

Two new projects are due to open courses in the city boundaries between 2012/2014, the first of these will be the 27 hole LYP Resort & Golf Club scheduled to open in October 2012. The second project is the 36 hole Sir Nick Faldo design Vattanac Golf Resort. Construction has now started and the first of the 18 holes could be playable by late 2013.

Siem Reap

A fourth international standard course for Siem Reap, Bellus Angkor Resort was proposed in 2010, current stage of development is unknown.

Miscellaneous

Developments are expected to be proposed at Koh Rong, Koh Kong, Bavet (Cambodia Vietnam Friendship Golf Resort), Kep, Kampot and Poipet.
